Reboot Room
Case overview
Reboot Room is a recovery concept that makes micro-breaks possible during the workday. It is a sensory-stimulating room with integrated sound and light technology, where guided sessions help users restore energy, focus, or calm in the middle of the working day.
I created the full brand identity, website, and app design (used in the room experience).
Challenge
Organisations have long optimised how people work, but not how they recover. Cognitive overload, fragmented focus, and mental fatigue mid-day are widespread problems that most workplaces lack a language for, let alone a solution. Reboot Room needed a brand identity that communicated what sets it apart from wellness in general: this is not relaxation. It is active recovery.

Wordmark construction: The wordmark is built on two circular forms, both derived from the O.
Symbol construction: All circular forms in the symbol are derived from the O in the wordmark.

Solution
The visual system mirrors the concept's core: precision, structure, intention. Wordmark and symbol are built from a single geometric logic; every form is derived from one circle. It's a system that signals rigour and coherence. The circular form also does double duty: rounded shapes read as calm and safe, reinforcing the very state Reboot Room exists to create.
That same logic runs through the three recovery programmes: Recharge, Refocus, Relax, each with its own colour world. Recharge in deep burgundy and warm red, linked to energy and circulation. Refocus in teal and cool light blue, associated with clarity and focus. Relax in forest green and soft pink, tied to nervous system regulation and calm. These palettes carry through to the room itself, driving the light programming in the ceiling installation, so identity and experience run on one coherent system.
Each programme has its own icon: rising light for Recharge, converging lines for Refocus, circles for Relax, distilling the session into a single legible mark for the tablet interface.
Where the system is precise, the illustrations are deliberately loose. Hand-drawn linework runs alongside the geometric identity, adding a lightness and warmth that keeps Reboot Room feeling human rather than clinical.
Colour and typography position Reboot Room as a premium, professional solution, deliberately distant from the soft, ambient visual language typically associated with wellness.
