Reboot Room
Case overview
Reboot Room is a recovery concept that makes micro-breaks possible during the workday, not as interruptions, but as a designed, structured reset of the nervous system. A sensory-stimulating room with integrated sound and light technology, where guided sessions of approx 15 minutes help the user restore energy, focus or calm in the middle of the working day.
Challenge
Organisations have long optimised how people work, but not how they recover. Cognitive overload, fragmented focus and mental fatigue mid-day are widespread problems that most workplaces lack a language for, let alone a solution. Reboot Room needed a brand identity that communicated what sets them apart from wellness in general: this is not relaxation. It is active recovery. A new kind of infrastructure for knowledge work.

Overview
Solution
The identity is built around the idea of direction, not escape. You go to a room. You close the door. You enter a different state. The visual system mirrors the concept's core: precision, structure and intention. The wordmark and symbol are constructed around a geometric system where all forms are derived from a single circular element – a design logic that signals rigour and coherence. The recurring circular form is also a deliberate choice for its effect: rounded shapes read as calm, safe and considered, reinforcing the very state Reboot Room is designed to create.
The three recovery programmes: Recharge, Refocus and Relax, each have their own visual language, rooted in colour psychology. Recharge draws on deep burgundy and warm red tones shown to stimulate energy, circulation and motivation. Refocus uses teal blue and cool light blue, colours associated with intellect, clarity and concentration. Relax is anchored in forest green and light pink, palettes most associated with nervous system regulation and a sense of calm safety. These colour worlds are not decorative choices, they are the same principles that inform the light programming in the room's ceiling installation, creating a coherent sensory logic from identity to experience. Each programme is also represented by its own icon: a graphic element that distils the essence of the session into a single form: rising light for Recharge, converging lines for Refocus, circles for Relax. Simple, considered and immediately readable at a glance on the tablet interface.
Colour and typography are chosen to position Reboot Room as a premium solution in a professional context, far from the soft and ambient aesthetics typically associated with wellness.

Symbol

Symbol construction: All circular forms in the symbol are derived from the O in the wordmark.
